This magical well was created as an Environment Design exercise. The project was to make an environment with a story behind it. The well in my level, titled Freedom Or Forgiveness, was created to allow the player a way to complete the level by gathering coins to put into the well's bucket, which went into the well, allowing the player a wish. The well's story is as follows:
"The first adventurers to the densest part of the forest noted the strange foliage and the already existing well. Those with magical abilities were able to hear and talk to the well, who would grant them a wish: forgiveness for past issues, or freedom from the forest."

The well, mushrooms, lily of the valley flower(s), and bucket were modelled in 3ds Max and placed into Unity. The thorn bushes were made in Blender with help from Ben Cohen. The roof's shingle texture was modelled in 3ds Max and textured in Adobe Substance 3D Painter. Textures were applied in Unity. Fairies were Unity Standard Asset particle systems.
